Who we are

The Wellnest Haven Pty Ltd (ABN 34 701 830 024) sells full-body red light therapy beds in Australia. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Wellnest Haven.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer an enquiry and, if you go ahead, to supply and support a bed.

• Contact details — your name, email address and phone number.
• Enquiry details — whether the bed is for a home or a business, your rough timeframe, and anything else you choose to tell us.
• Site and delivery details — for a purchase: your delivery address, access route measurements, and for commercial units the electrical characteristics of your premises.
• Purchase and support records — what you bought, when, deposit and balance payments, warranty and service history.
• Technical and usage data — your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you viewed and how you arrived, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).

We do not ask for health information, and we ask that you do not send us any. We do not sell red light beds as medical devices and we are not in a position to advise on medical matters. If you volunteer health information anyway, we will treat it as sensitive information and will not use it for marketing.

We do not collect payment card numbers. Payments are taken by a third-party payment provider or by bank transfer, and card details never reach our systems.

How we collect it

• Directly from you, through the enquiry form on this site, by phone, email or SMS.
• Automatically, through cookies, the Meta pixel and Google tags on this site.
• Occasionally from a third party who refers you to us, where they have your consent to do so.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and give you a straight assessment of whether a bed suits you.
• To prepare a quote, take a deposit, arrange freight and deliver the unit.
• To provide warranty support, order parts and arrange a technician.
• To send you information about the product you enquired about, and occasionally other things we sell. You can opt out at any time — see below.
• To measure which advertising works, so we stop paying for the advertising that doesn't.
• To meet our legal obligations, including under the Australian Consumer Law and tax law.

Who we disclose it to

We disclose personal information to the following kinds of recipients, and only as much as each one needs.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not disclose it to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

Overseas disclosure

Some of the recipients above are located outside Australia, as noted in the table. Where we disclose personal information overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, but you should be aware that overseas recipients may be subject to different laws and that we may not be able to enforce Australian privacy law against them.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses:

• Essential cookies — to make the enquiry form work.
• Meta pixel — to measure which ads produce enquiries, and to show you our ads on Meta platforms. Meta's privacy policy.
• Google tags and analytics — to measure traffic and ad performance. Google's privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising in your Meta ad preferences and Google ad settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you using this site or buying from us.

Direct marketing, and how to stop it

If you enquire, we will follow up about that enquiry, and we may later send you information about other products. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, every marketing SMS can be stopped by replying STOP, and you can email us at [email protected] to be removed from everything at once. We will action it promptly and we will not ask you to justify it.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don't proceed — 24 months, then deleted.
• Purchase and warranty records — at least seven years, as required by Australian tax and consumer law, and for the life of the warranty.

Keeping it secure

We hold personal information in access-controlled systems, restrict access to people who need it, and use encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Getting your information, or correcting it

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. If we refuse, we will tell you why in writing.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy complaint". We will acknowledge within 5 business days and give you a written response within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: oaic.gov.au, or 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. If the change is significant and affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell you directly.
