Wellnest Haven supplies full-body red light beds and custom saunas in Australia. We sell equipment people put in their own homes, because the difference between something working and not working is almost always whether it gets used.

What we are for

Staying capable, for longer

Most people who buy one of these are in their fifties. They are not ill. Mornings are harder than they were and recovery takes longer than it used to, and they would like that curve to be gentler than it is going to be on its own.

That is a modest, sensible ambition and it does not need dressing up. What it needs is consistency. The research that found anything used a fixed pattern of about four sessions a week, and four sessions a week is exactly what a booking, a drive and a car park will quietly erode.

So we sell the version that lives in your house. Not because owning is better than renting in principle, but because the sessions you actually take are the only ones that count for anything.

A number for how much light a bed puts out means nothing on its own. The reading at the panel face and the reading at the surface you lie on are different numbers, and only one of them describes what reaches you.

So ours is published at the body, at a stated distance, with the panel-face figure printed beside it. Not as a point about anyone else. It is there because it is the only version of the number you can do anything with when you are working out whether this suits you.

The same goes for weight, for the doorway it has to fit through and for what it costs to run. If a figure would change your mind, it should be easy to find.

A red light bed is an electrical appliance. It is not a medical device and it is not on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods.

Nothing we publish will say or imply that these machines treat, cure, prevent or relieve any condition. That is the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code and it applies to advertising as much as to a product page.

What we will do is report the research with its source attached, including the parts of it that are weak. The trial on skin is good. The evidence on exercise recovery is inconsistent, and we say so on the page rather than let you discover it after you have paid.
